Call rates close lower

Mumbai, Feb. 26

The inter bank call rate closed lower at 7.60 per cent-7.80 per cent on Tuesday, against the previous close at 7.75 per cent-8 per cent. In the one-day repo auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility, the RBI received and accepted six bids for Rs 10, 510 crore. In the reverse-repo auction, the central bank received and accepted two bids for Rs 170 crore. The CBLO market saw 492 trades aggregating Rs 38, 748.55 crore in the 7.25 per cent -8 per cent range.
