Aircel’s lifetime prepaid offer

Coimbatore, Feb. 27

Aircel has announced a lifetime prepaid at Rs248 for new subscribers. This would cost the existing subscribers Rs 199. The tariff for local calls would be of Re.1/min, which would be extended to the existing lifetime subscribers automatically. STD calls would be charged Rs 2.74/min. According to Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Aircel Cellular, validity was one of the key attributes of prepaid and by offering lifetime validity at an affordable price Aircel hoped to attract new users and reward existing subscribers. —
