New Delhi, Feb. 27 Lime Spot, a Web company focusing on creating and delivering user-driven applications and services, on Wednesday announced the launch of ‘LimeExchange’.
This is a programme for talent market place aimed at helping small and medium businesses (SMBs), entrepreneurs and individuals to outsource, connect and collaborate globally.
Major hub
“We are launching the platform from India as the country is a major hub that attracts professionals for outsourced work,” said Lime Spot’s Head of India Operations, Mr Pawan Agarwal.
Through LimeExchange, SMBs can gain competitive advantages of outsourcing, including flexible workforce, and access to specialised skills.
Projects for free
Businesses can sign up and post their projects on LimeExchange for free, and receive proposals from global pool of professional service providers, contractors, and freelancers. Using LimeExchange’s ‘Connect’ social networking features, buyers can make decisions about service providers before they award a project.
They can check references with other businesses in their trusted network.
They can limit bids or hiring to providers already in their trusted network.
Once they narrow the field, LimeExchange provides buyers with tools to negotiate pricing; award projects; escrow payments; monitor, review, and approve work; and communicate with service providers using e-mail, instant messaging, message boards.
