Financial Performance Corporate Results - IT-enabled Services Syntel Q4 revenue up 29% Our Bureau Pune, Feb. 28 IT services and KPO firm Syntel has recorded a total revenue of $94million during the fourth quarter of 2007 as compared to $73.1 million during the corresponding period of 2006, an increase of 28.6 per cent. The gross margin was 39.4 per cent compared to 38.8 per cent in 2006. During the period , applications outsourcing accounted for 65.5 per cent of total revenue, with knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) at 18.6 per cent, e-business contributing 10.4 per cent and team sourcing at 5.5 per cent. Net income for the fourth quarter was $15.9 million (Rs 62.77 crore) or $0.39 per diluted share, compared to $13.3 million (Rs 52.50 crore) or $0.32 per diluted share in the prior-year period and net income of $18.3 million (Rs 72.24 crore) or $0.44 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2007.
