The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has entered into an agreement with the Indian Institute of Energy Management, Chennai for conducting collaborative activities and strengthening research and development programmes on energy management.

The agreement is for a period of three years. Under the agreement, both TNAU and IIEM have agreed to organise international and national level seminars on renewable energy application, mobilise financial and institutional support for strengthening the research and development programme on bio energy, offer distance education training programmes and a one-year PG diploma course on Energy Auditing and Management and Renewable Energy Sources. —
