Dhanalakshmi Bank extends CBS to all branches

Kochi, March 6 Dhanalakshmi Bank has extended core banking solutions to its 181 branches and 26 extension counters, spread across eight States in the country. The bank has also deployed the Flexicube software of i-flex Solutions for enhancing its technological capabilities.

Announcing the extension of CBS facilities, the Managing Director and CEO, Mr P.S. Prasad, added that the operational performance of the bank has been improving on all fronts and that the total business volume is close to Rs 5,500 crore.

The complete migration to CBS would enable the bank to significantly improve the quality and range of its services to its growing clientele. country. All constituents of the bank will now be ‘bank customers’ rather than ‘branch customers’, with the option of operating their accounts from any of the bank’s branches.

New products

This migration, Mr Prasad said, would enhance the bank’s capabilities to proactively introduce a new suite of products in anticipation of the customers’ needs. The bank is also working on IT-enabled financial inclusion . In order to further widen its customer base, the bank has launched two new products, a savings bank account product called Dhanam Platinum and a current account product called Dhanam Super Power.
