Mumbai, March 7

Cox & Kings is promoting Grevin, the wax museum in Paris, with the launch of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s wax statue. Announcing the added attraction at a press conference here, Mr Frederic Gouguidis, Director Marketing, Grevin Museum, said, “Cox & Kings is our exclusive partner in the Indian market and it was the first tour operator that evinced interest in the promotion of Grevin.” With almost 2 lakh Indians visiting France every year, the partnership with Grevin is expected to give Cox & Kings a boost to its tourism revenues from India. Mr Peter Kerkar, CEO, Cox & Kings, said “Outbound tourism is growing from India at 25 per cent and we continue to grow at the same rate.” Cox & Kings is also planning to expand its operations in terms of having more franchises and distributors for its travel business for which it has applied for an IPO. —
