Punj Lloyd-led team bags project

New Delhi, March 7

Aconsortium led by engineering construction firm Punj Lloyd Ltd has bagged the $500-million (Rs 2,010 crore) Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipeline project in Malaysia. This pipeline project will run more than 512 km through dense plantations and mountains of Sabah and Sarawak in Eastern Malaysia Borneo island. The scope of work involves engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of an onshore natural gas pipeline from the proposed Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal in Kimanis to Petronas Liquefied Natural Gas complex in Bintulu (Sarawak State) and associated facilities.
