Prahlad Chhabria pens his memoir

Pune, March 6

Mr Prahlad P. Chhabria, Chairman of the Rs 3,600- crore Finolex group, has penned his memoir titled There's No Such Thing as a Self-Made Man. The book traces the journey of a 12-year-old who began work as a cleaning boy in a small shop in Karachi and went on to build one of India's leading business conglomerates. Mr Chhabria said, "Poverty, luck and lack of contacts are merely constraints people carry in their minds. If you start with a positive attitude, half the job is done." His advice to young entrepreneurs is, "Think about what you are creating everyday. Observation is important. Before any activity, think what best you can get out it." The book is to be released by former CSIR director Dr R. A. Mashelkar on March 8.- Our Bureau
