Reliance's incentive for cricketer

Jamnagar, March 7

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has offered Rs 25,000 per month for three years to Jamnagar's young cricketer Mr Ravindra Jadeja, to help him build a promising career in cricket. Mr Jadeja, Vice-Captain of India Under-19, put up a brilliant all-round performance at World Cup played at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this week.

Mr Parimal Nathwani, Group President, Corporate Affairs, RIL, in a letter to Mr Jadeja, offered this incentive as a token of the company's appreciation. "It is an incentive with a view to allow you a worry-free time for furthering your career in cricket," it said. People of Jamnagar had enthusiastically greeted Mr Jadeja on his return from Malaysia on Wednesday. - Our Bureau
