Workers engaged in a paddy field near Thrissur, Kerala. The State’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) grew to 8.1 per cent, marginally higher than 8 per cent recorded last year. Income from primary sources, including agriculture, has dipped from 17 per cent to 16 per cent, as per the Economic Review 2007 prepared by the State Planning Board.
