New Delhi, March 10

National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has announced an interim dividend of 45 per cent on a paid-up capital of Rs 644.31 crore, amounting to Rs 289.94 crore for fiscal 2007-08. The dividend cheque for Rs 252.67 crore for the 87.15 per cent stake held by the Centre was handed over to the Union Minister of Mines, Mr Sis Ram Ola by Nalco’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr C.R. Pradhan here, a company release said.
