Levi Strauss on expansion mode

Hyderabad, March 12

Levi Strauss (India) Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the San Francisco-based Levi Strauss, plans to expand its footprints for both Levi's and Dockers San Francisco brands. "We will have 250 Levi's outlets by the year-end as against the present 170. The number of Dockers showrooms will go up to 50 from 27," Mr Shumone Chatterjee, Managing Director, said.

Addressing a press conference here, he said the company would come up with its women's line as well. Mr John Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Levi Strauss, said India has become a source for design, talent and manufacturing for the company. - Our Bureau
