Mangalore, March 13 Increase in the number of young human resource in the next 10 years will be a strong point of India in its growth story, according to Mr Denzil Lobo, Director of Aloysius Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Mangalore.

Speaking at the inauguration of ‘Verve 2008’ – the national-level b-school meet of AIBA – here on Thursday, he said that the country will compete with most of the developed nations in the years to come.

In the next 10 years, the country will have strong force of young human resource. Even China will not be having such a strong pool of young human resource. In such a situation, the young human resource will be a strong point in India’s growth story, he said.

‘Future hope’

Inaugurating the meet, Dr N.K. Thingalaya, former Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank, said that the students coming out of small-town management schools are the future leaders of the country.

Most of the students coming out of top management schools prefer to work overseas than working in the country, he added.

Nearly 20 business schools are participating in the three-day event. Dr P.G. Aquinas, Dean of AIBA, explained the activities of AIBA and ‘Verve 2008’ on the occasion.
