Cos Bill in post-Budget session

New Delhi, March 13

The Companies Bill is likely to be introduced in Parliament in the post-Budget session beginning mid-April and ending on May 9. Parliament goes into a recess after March 20. The Budget session of Parliament commenced on February 25 and is likely to end on May 9. Official sources said that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has forwarded the draft proposals to the Law Ministry, which has now completed the vetting of the Bill. The draft Bill, in the coming weeks, is likely to come up before the Cabinet for its approval before being introduced in Parliament in the post-Budget session. —
