Flight operations normal

Kolkata, March 13

Flight operations at the Kolkata Airport was maintained on Thursday despite the nationwide indefinite `non co-operation' movement launched by the Airport Authority Employees' Union (AAEU). Even though no flight has been cancelled, the garbage at the lounge is piling up with the ground staff remaining off the job. The problem will continue till the issues were settled, an airport official said. The Kolkata airport has been the most affected from the union's agitation since it constitutes the maximum number of AAEU's members, the official added. - Our Bureau
