HICC wins award

Hyderabad, March 13

The Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), has won the National Tourism Award for the year 2006-07 in the category, `Best Convention Centre'. HICC opened in January 2006 with the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event. Since then, it has attracted several national and international events including Asian Development Bank's 39th AGM in 2006, International Astronautical Congress in 2007 etc., according to a press release. - Our Bureau
