Strategy States - Maharashtra Cornerstone launches outlets in Pune Our Bureau Pune, March 14 The Hyderabad-based Zerostock Retail Pvt Ltd launched its premier menswear brand Cornerstone in Pune with five exclusive stores in the city at Fergusson Road, MG Road, Magarpatta, Connaught Place Mall and Pimpri. Over the next few months, the company said it will add several more outlets in the city. Mr Ashok Mayya, CEO, said, “To help customers decide, we will carry details about the yarn, count, weave, wash and finish for each garment. These details along with the pricing information will enable the customer to make a decision.” Over 50 per cent of the garment collection is in fabric of 100s count and above. With Cornerstone, the company will follow the zero-inventory model. Customers figure out the size which will fit them with the trial shirt on the display and then select the design and the material of the shirt. The selected garment is dispatched to the customer from the centralised store within 48 hours of the transaction. Zerostock Retail Pvt Ltd, a privately-funded company, was launched in Hyderabad earlier this year with an initial investment of Rs 16 crore. It is planning to open 30 exclusive outlets in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Jaipur and Kolkata by March end . More Stories on : Strategy | Readymade Garments | Maharashtra
