Spot rubber rules steady

Aravindan

Kottayam, March 17 Spot rubber finished flat on Monday. According to sources there were no active sellers or buyers in the main marketing centres to set a specific trend and most of the traders seemed to be falling in to a holyday mood with only a few more days to Easter.

The volumes were low. RSS 4 closed unchanged at Rs 105 and Rs 105. 25 a kg respectively at Kottayam and Kochi as on the previous weekend. Declines in global futures and heavy rains since last few days kept the market mood depressed throughout the session.
