Software Tangent to roll out supply chain solutions Our Bureau Hyderabad, March 17 Tangent Solutions India, a Hyderabad-based technology company with operations in the US, is in the process of rolling out its supply chain solutions in the domestic market. The company is also evaluating a hosted application model for supply chain solutions, according to Mr T. Gopi Krishna, Managing Director of Tangent Solutions. In 2007, the company’s US-based subsidiary acquired CashCow, a multi-party electronic settlement solution for the entire supply chain business, from MidWest Bank for $8 million. This product was developed internally for MidWest Bank but later sold out. This product enables Tangent to help enterprises to integrate various partners in the entire enterprise supply chain and thereby streamline business and settlement process. “The market for supply chain solutions is poised for growth as companies become more agile, they want even their suppliers to be technology enabled. Significantly, even small and medium-sized companies are now keen to take to these solutions. To address this market, we are evaluating a hosted approach,” he said.
