Govt to study emission from planes

New Delhi, March 18

The Government has decided to undertake a baseline study to ascertain emission from civilian aircraft in the country. The Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr Praful Patel, told the Raja Sabha on Tuesday that the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power has been mandated to carry out the study. The terms of reference for the study are being worked out in consultation with the stakeholders, Mr Patel said. - Our Bureau
