Nabard sanctions Rs 51 cr for road, bridge projects

Hyderabad, March 18 The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has sanctioned Rs 51.85 crore to the Andhra Pradesh Government for road and bridge projects.

The assistance, in the form of loans, is under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF). With this, the total sanctions under RIDF for 2007-08 are Rs 1277.07 crore, according to a Nabard press release.

The Tribal Welfare Engineering, Panchayat Raj, and the Roads and Buildings Department would implement these projects across several districts in the State.
