Study on SoA adoption

Hyderabad, March 18

A survey on services-oriented architecture (SoA), its prospects and adoption level, by IT testing services provider AppLabs shows there is growing interest in its adoption across the IT industry. The research sampled IT professionals from Fortune 500 companies, focused on areas of SoA for Planning, Adoption, Benefits & Risks and Quality Management and Testing issues.

The Head of Client Engagement, AppLabs Europe, Mr Graham Smith, in a statement said “fifty-two per cent of IT companies are unaware of the risks associated with implementing an SoA system. While 38 per cent of organisations are on track with their SoA implementation, 43 per cent are still in the planning stage.” –
