Biologicals growth strategy

Bangalore, March 19

Nutritional supplements company British Biologicals Ltd said that acquisitions, brand buying and tie-ups overseas will drive its new global growth strategy. This would include investing in plants overseas. Its MD, Mr V. S. Reddy, said the plan is to have a mix of organic and inorganic growth. Recently it entered into a marketing tie-up with Finland's Raisio Group. BB, which opened its new global headquarters built at Rs 16 crore here on Wednesday, will continue to be the flagship company and all its associates including British Nutrition would draw resources from the pool. The company plans to increase the number of employees. - Our Bureau
