Call rates close higher

Mumbai, March 24

The inter-bank call rates closed marginally higher at 7.75-8 per cent on Monday, against the previous close of 7.50-7.75 per cent. In the first one-day repo auction under Liquidity Adjustment Facility, the Reserve Bank of India received and accepted 20 bids for Rs 26,785 crore. There was no reverse repo bid. The CBLO market saw 559 trades aggregating Rs 39,461.65 crore in the 2-8 per cent range. - Our Bureau
