TCS to provide e-signature platform to Prudential

Our Bureau

Mumbai, March 24 Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been selected to provide its flagship electronic signature platform for US-based financial services provider Prudential Financial Inc (PFI).

Christened FormSigner™ PRO, TCS’ platform is a digital certificate-based application that enables companies to digitally sign and authenticate web-based transactions.

“The industry is picking up in the area of e-signing that doesn’t require client-side hardware such as signature pads, resulting in tremendous cost savings and convenience,” said Dr Kamlesh Bajaj, Global Head, Information Risk Management Practice, TCS.

The e-signature engine, built on the FormSigner™ PRO platform, enables the client to achieve relatively seamless integration with its existing applications, according to a press release from TCS.

The TCS scrip hit an intra-day high of Rs 836.8 on the BSE on Monday, before settling at Rs 823.45, 1.66 per cent higher than the previous day close.
