BEML pays 55% interim dividend

Bangalore, March 25

BEML Ltd has declared 55 per cent interim dividend for fiscal 2007-08. Its CMD, Mr V.RS. Natarajan, presented a cheque for Rs 12.37 crore to the Defence Minister, Mr A.K. Antony, in New Delhi on Tuesday, a release said. The Government of India owns 54 per cent shares in BEML. The company expects 2007-08 sales to cross the MoU target of Rs 2,765 crore, and orders to surpass Rs 4,000 crore.
