Tata Crucible-The Campus Quiz 2008

Mumbai, March 25 Tata Crucible-The Campus Quiz 2008 saw a participation of around 2,000 teams across four cities in the fourth edition of the business quiz.

The battle of the intellects will be carried forward at the National final of Tata Crucible-The Campus Quiz 2008 scheduled in Mumbai on March 27, said a press release.

This year the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz was extended to four new cities – Lucknow, Indore, Kochi and Chandigarh in addition to the earlier eight cities. The Campus Quiz commenced its regional rounds in Hydearbad on February 3, and thereafter journeyed through to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kochi, Indore, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Delhi, Chennai to conclude the regional rounds in Pune on March 9.

Cash prize

Each regional winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 60,000 and host of other exciting prizes.

The eventual national winner would profit by Rs 2.6 lakh, while the total value of the prizes at stake is over Rs 25 lakh including additional prizes by Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Tata Asset Management, Tata Indicom and Ginger Hotels, said the release.
