Khandelwal to head AMC venture

New Delhi, March 25

Dr Anil Khandelwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda, is to take over as Chairman of Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company Ltd from April 1 this year. The Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, announced Dr Khandelwal's appointment as Chairman of the asset management joint venture at a function organised here on Tuesday for the release of a book on the centenary history of the bank. Dr Khandelwal is to retire from the bank on March 31 this year. The Pioneer Global Asset Management had tied up with Bank of Baroda for the asset management business in October 2007. - Our Bureau
