Our Bureau

Hyderabad, March 25 Logistics and supply chain solutions provider Four Soft Ltd on Tuesday announced that IAL Group has selected 4S eTrans to help the latter meet its multi-modal freight forwarding operations in India.

Shipping and logistics company IAL has strong presence in the sub-continent and in Asia with a network of offices. IAL Group will utilise 4S eTrans for managing information on the shipments and for billing and settlement requirements. The group plans to implement 4S eTrans software in all its branches, commencing with Delhi.

The Vice-President, Asia Pacific, Four Soft, Mr Rakesh Kumar, in a statement said, “When organisations like IAL choose to implement 4S eTrans, it validates the fact that transportation and logistics companies are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that they require the best software to integrate various transportation operations with in-built freight accounting module and, thereby, gain operational efficiency.”

4S eTrans is a Web-based application that seamlessly integrates air, ocean and truck operations with in-built freight accounting module. This automates the multi-mode transportation functions and offers visibility of the goods in several stages of processing, both to the logistics providers and their customers, at any given time.
