Gold Coast food fest at Marriott

Marriott across its properties in India brings in Tastes of Gold Coast Festival celebrating the best of food and wine.

Chef Ms Venessa Burton, Sous Chef—Surfers Paradise Marriot Resort & Spa, who flew from Australia, toasted some delightful dishes and explained how people who travel Down Under enjoy best of fresh fruits and vegetables laced with sea food and spiced with pepper.

The Australia’s Gold Coast is known for its array of food sensations and considered as delicacies liked by people world over. This blends creative cuisine styles brought to India by the Gold Coast Tourism Corporation.

Ms Veessa Burten demonstrated some of the delicacies including appetizer that comes with Tropical Queensland salt and pepper squid, rocket leaves, sweet corn fritters ad raspberry vinegar.

The festival showcases a diverse dining experience indicating a world of flavours at the restaurant Okra. Each of the many dining precincts offers a unique charm through simple techniques applied to enhance the ingredients.
