Idea Cellular set to extend network

Visakhapatnam, March 26

Idea Cellular is set to extend its network to cover 3,000 towns and 30,000 villages in the country by the end of the year, according to Mr Subbaraman Iyer, the Circle Head, Andhra Pradesh. He was speaking at a press meet here on Wednesday on the occasion of “Idea rocks India” concert, with playback singer Shaan. The series of concerts will end in Goa on March 30. Mr Iyer said that at present Idea’s network was covering 1,700 towns and 17,000 villages.
