Egg-less desserts festival in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, March 26

The Residency, Coimbatore, has for the first time initiated a month-long `egg-less desserts' festival. Egg-less cakes, according to Chef Ashok, has been in demand especially after the incidence of the bird-flu. "We therefore decided on the `egg-less dessert' theme." It plans to offer four different flavours of cheese cakes, six varieties of pie and eight tortes.- Our Bureau
