TMB’s branch at Sriperumbudur

Madurai, March 27

Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has opened its 200th branch and 91st ATM of the bank at Sriperumbudur near Chennai. Mr G. Narayana Moorthy, Managing Director of the bank, speaking on the occasion, said that the bank has obtained licence from Reserve Bank of India for opening 17 new branches and these would be rolled out before the end of September 2008. The bank has plans to have 100 ATMs before the closure of this financial year. The bank is set to launch SMS ban king soon, he added. —
