Our Bureau

Chennai, March 27 Cartridge World, engaged in printer cartridge refilling, is expanding its presence in India. The $450-million Australian company currently has 22 stores run by franchisees and has signed up another 18 stores across 15 cities.

In Chennai, the company has opened two stores that will offer a one-stop-shop for all printer-related needs. This includes refilling inkjet cartridges and reloading laser cartridges — both backed with money-back guarantees along with printer repairs and free customer education , said Mr Naveen Rakhecha, CEO, South Asia, Cartridge World.

A new OEM cartridge costs Rs 700 with a page yield of 150. For half the price, the Cartridge World refill gives the same page yield, he said.
