Steady growth: Tourists at a handicrafts store in Mattanchery near Kochi. Kerala tourism sector’s income crossed Rs 11,433 crore in 2007, a 25.28 per cent increase from last year Rs 126 crore. Foreign tourist arrivals to the State also increased by 20.37 per cent from 428,534 in 2006 to 515,808 in 2007, according to the State Tourism Department figures.
