Events States - Maharashtra IIM-A wins Tata Crucible quiz Our Bureau Mumbai, March 28 IIM Ahmedabad won the Tata Crucible — The Campus Quiz 2008 national finals. Keerthi Raghavan and Dushyant Mullur of the winning team won a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh along with the National Champions trophy. The first runners up were Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai while the second were Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bangalore. Regional champions from 12 institutes, including College of Engineering-Trivandrum, SP Jain institute, Punjab Engineering College, IMT-Ghaziabad, College of Engineering-Chennai and Symbiosis Law School participated in the quiz. The prizes were given out by Mr B. Muthuraman, Managing Director, Tata Steel. “It was a great evening, wonderful standard of quizzing, great sharpness of mind and hence I was glad to be in the audience,” he said. The contest was conducted by quiz master Mr Giri “Pickbrain” Balasubramaniam. On winning the quiz, Keerthi Raghavan said, “We are thrilled, excited, overjoyed and proud to go back to college with the Tata Crucible — The Campus Quiz 2008 trophy. The runners-up teams, especially NMIMS, put forth a tough fight. “In fact, they maintained the highest score from the start and were anticipated to be the winners.
