The Public Relations Council of India conferred the Hall of Fame award to PR professionals. Mr Yogesh Joshi, President, The Association of Business Communicators of India; Mr Jitender Bhargava, Director Communications, Air India and Dr Gopal Chandra Banik, National Professor, PR and Communications, University Grants Commission, were the recipients of the award. PRCI is the Indian body to induct top PR professionals into the Hall of Fame, which was originally started by the International Public Relations Association, USA.
