South Indian Bank opens 500th branch

New Delhi, March 29 South Indian Bank Ltd on Saturday opened its 500th core banking solutions branch at Vivek Vihar in New Delhi. The branch was inaugurated by Ms Sheila Dixit, Chief Minister of Delhi. Also present on the occasion were Dr V.A. Joseph, Chairman and CEO of the bank and Dr V.K. Garg, Chairman and Managing Director, Power Finance Corporation. Ms Dixit launched the distribution of 500 microcredit loans (housing loans) to the weaker sections of society. - Our Bureau
