Coimbatore, March 31 Bank of Maharashtra has informed that in terms of Government of India notification dated March 25, Aurangabad Jalna Gramin Bank and Thane Gramin Bank sponsored by BoM have been amalgamated to form a new Regional Rural Bank viz. Maharashtra Godavari Gramin Bank (MGGB). The area of operation is nine districts of Maharashtra - Aurangabad, Jalna, Ahemadnagar, Jalgaon, Raigad, Thane, Nasik, Dhule and Nandurbar. MGGB is having 76 branches which are fully computerised with total business of Rs 925.52 crore.

Bhushan Steel Ltd proposes to set up a value-added steel plant in Chennai with a production capacity of 0.5 million TPA with the total investment of approximately Rs 500 crore.

BL Kashyap & Sons Ltd has bagged new projects worth over Rs 344 crore for construction of approximately 3.60 million sq ft of space.
