Deutsche Bank, IIFCL sign pact

Mumbai, March 31

Deutsche Bank and India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL) have signed an agreement to collaborate in the area of infrastructure investment in India. Through this Memorandum of Understanding, Deutsche Bank and IIFCL will bring to bear their expertise to meet the long-term equity and debtfinancing needs of the booming infrastructure sector in the country, said a press release. The release quoting Mr Gunit Chadha said, "We are delighted to collaborate with IIFCL. Deutsche Bank's access to global capital and structuring expertise in India will provide further impetus in meeting the growing demand for infrastructure finance in the country." - Our Bureau
