Thiruvananthapuram, April 1

A five-day international workshop on ‘Efficient energy management and renewable energy’ getting under way here from April 21 will see women delegates from South Asian and Central Asian countries converge in the city. Funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the South Asia Regional Initiative for Energy (SARI/Energy) under the auspices of the State Government’s Energy Management Centre (EMC), the event is being organised by the PA Consulting Group. The Muthoot Plaza will host the delegates from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, apart from the host country India.
