Inn-Venue’s hospitality academy to begin work in July

Pune, April 1 Pune-based Inn-Venue Hospitality Management Pvt Ltd (IHM), owner of the Baker’s Basket and Polka Dots brands, is investing Rs 5 crore in setting up a training institute for hospitality industry in the city.

The Redcarpet Hospitality and Culinary Academy, due to become operational in July, will offer one-year training courses and six months of internship with stipend, for specialisation in five areas of hospitality for 150 students.

Mr Rajendra Kelshikar, Director, IHM said that the inspiration for setting up an academy was the sheer dearth of trained manpower.
