Vishal Retail’s 100th outlet

New Delhi, April 1

Vishal Retail has hit a century with the opening of its 100th retail outlet at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The Rs 600-crore group has a presence in 69 cities across the country. Mr Ram Chandra Agarwal, CMD, Vishal Retail, said, “There has been a significant rise in footfalls and profitability across the Vishal Retail stores in the last few years. We are looking to cross total retail area of 25 lakh sq ft in tier-II and tier-III cities by the end of 2008. We will cont inue to actively look out for retail space across the country, especially in the smaller towns as we are expanding our presence in interior India”.
