New Delhi, April 1

Maggi gets even more convenient, it will still be ready in two minutes and now ready to eat from a cup. Nestle India is introducing Maggi Cuppa Mania Instant Noodles in two flavours.

“Maggi has pioneered the instant noodles category, and has consistently innovated and renovated keeping pace with the consumer’s needs. Our consumer insight says the youth today lead a more busy lifestyle, is multi-tasking and is always on the go,” said Ms Shivani Hegde, General Manager (Food). Expected to be consumed by the whole family, the product nonetheless is betting on the 18-24 year olds with a tagline of ‘Just add Garam Paani and Carry on Jaaani!’

The 25-year-old brand, on Tuesday, also introduced a Rs 12-Maggi Pichkoo Tomato Ketchup. Claiming to be the leaders in sauces and ketchup, Maggi believes the price point will help it further expand its sauce and ketchup consumer base. “The launch of pichkoo will also enhance our reach through greater affordability,” said Ms Hegde. Maggi Pichkoo will be ‘different!’ as the ketchup brand has always promised; the launches will be supported by a 360 degree campaign.

Each cup of Mania Insta Noodles meets 20 per cent of the recommended daily allowance for calcium, claimed Nestle. The noodles will be sold in two flavours Masala Yo! and Chilli Chow Yo!
