Hyderabad varsity gets `A' grade
Hyderabad, April 2
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council
(NAAC), an autonomous institution of the University
Grants Commission, has accredited the University of
Hyderabad (UoH) with `A' grade. The NAAC team which
visited the university during March 3-5, accredited the
university with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.89
on a four point scale at `A' grade which attributes a very
good descriptor for the university and is generally
interpreted as a high level of academic accomplishment
expected from an institution, according to a release. The
UoH had been assessed on teaching, learning and
evaluation, research, consultancy and extension,
infrastructure and learning resources, student support
and progression, governance, leadership and innovative
