Lahari Resorts plans expansion

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, April 3 Lahari Resorts will be adding 200 deluxe rooms at its premises at Bhanoor village on the outskirts of the city with an investment of over Rs 20 crore.

“Apart from increasing the number of rooms, we are also working on various innovative measures such as go-karting facilities to attract more patrons,” Ms Swapna Cherukuri, Managing Director, Lahari Resorts, told newspersons here on Thursday. The new rooms became necessary in view of the increasing demand and number of visitors, she said. Last year, over 24,000 visited the resort.

The new rooms would be ready over a period of two years from now.

In addition to attracting individuals and families, Lahari is also trying to promote wedding parties at its resorts.

“We are offering the entire resort for weddings for Rs 5 lakh, including food. Compared to some function halls, this is a reasonable offer,” she said.
