Subhash Projects bags NTPC project

Kolkata, April 3

Subhash Projects and Marketing Ltd (SPML) has secured a mandate worth Rs 329.48 crore from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for the Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project, Assam (3 x 250 MW). The estimated project value is the largest NTPC has given any company operating in the infrastructure sector. It is also the largest order bagged by SPML with a cumulative project value of Rs 710 crore, which includes value of cement and structural steel to be issued by the corporation. The project involves execution of main plant, civil works and offsite civil works package, which includes dismantling of the existing structure at the abandoned power plant of Assam State Electricity Board, clearing and developing the area and thereafter constructing pile foundation, says a press release. - Our Bureau
