The fifth edition of the international conference on advances in textiles, non-woven and technical textiles, ATNT 2008, will be held in Coimbatore between July 14-16.

The conference is organised by Texas Tech University in collaboration with the city-based Avinashilingam University for women.

Several leading global professional bodies connected with the advanced textiles besides the society of dyers and colorists of India will sponsor this international meet, according to a communication from Dr Seshadri Ramkumar, Organising Secretary (Texas Tech University).

ATNT 2008 will focus on advancement in the field of non-woven, technical textiles covering its research, product development and marketing and their economics, the communication added.
