ExlService Holdings sets up delivery centre in Manila

Our Bureau

New Delhi, April 8 Nasdaq-listed ExlService Holdings on Tuesday announced the addition of a new delivery centre in Manila with a total capacity of over 950 seats.

The company has also announced commencement of operations for a major US insurance client that it signed up recently for the Philippines.

“This would serve as its first outsourcing service delivery location outside of India and is an important step in EXL’s strategy of providing seamless global delivery from countries around the world,” a company statement said.

9 delivery centres

With this addition, EXL now has nine delivery centres located across Noida, Gurgaon, Pune in India, and Manila.

The Philippines facility has been built to meet the rising demands of EXL’s existing clients in multiple industry verticals as they spread their outsourcing operations globally.

The Philippines operations would be led by Mr Sumir Anand, who was recently given additional responsibilities as Business Leader, International Delivery.

Source of talent

“We believe that the Philippines represents a valuable source of talent, that will complement the significant transformation and outsourcing capabilities we offer today from India.

“Our presence in the Philippines will further enhance EXL’s business continuity capabilities and disaster recovery framework,” Mr Rohit Kapoor, EXL’s President and COO, said.
